I consent to the processing of my personal data under the conditions set out in this Consent to the Processing of Personal Data and Privacy Statement (hereinafter the ‘Statement’).
GENERAL INFORMATION
The European Social fund Agency (hereinafter the ‘Agency’) (legal entity code: 192050725, registered office: M. Katkaus g. 44, Vilnius, email: info@esf.lt, Data Protection Officer’s email: dap@esf.lt) recognises the importance of protecting personal data and will collect and process only those personal data that are necessary for the performance of the Agency’s activities in implementing the ESF+ Social Innovation+ initiative.
The Agency shall process personal data lawfully, fairly and transparently, for specified purposes and only to the extent necessary to achieve those purposes. When processing personal data, the Agency shall take appropriate measures to ensure that such data remain accurate, secure, confidential, properly stored and protected. The Agency guarantees that your personal data will not be transferred or disclosed to third parties without a legal basis.
LEGAL BASIS FOR DATA PROCESSING
In processing personal data, the Agency shall comply with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter the ‘GDPR’), the Law on the Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania and any other applicable legislation governing the processing of personal data.
Legal basis for data processing: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, under which ‘the data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes.’
FROM WHOM THE PERSONAL DATA WILL BE COLLECTED
Personal data shall be collected directly from the data subject or from the person completing the application, as well as from information submitted in eSInnis during the preparation and signing of Grant Agreements, the implementation of project activities, including the achievement of deliverables, and reporting processes.
By agreeing to this Statement, you confirm that you have obtained, or will obtain, the consent of the person, or of the person representing the organisation, whose personal data you provide, or will provide, in eSInnis for the purposes of the submission of an application, the preparation and signing of a Grant Agreement, the implementation of project activities, including the achievement of deliverables, and reporting, and that such personal data are provided lawfully and in accordance with the GDPR and other applicable data protection legislation.
PURPOSES FOR WHICH THE AGENCY WILL PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA
The Agency will process personal data for the following purposes:
Personal data may also be processed for surveys or studies related to the implementation of the ESF+ SI+ Initiative.
PERSONAL DATA WHICH THE AGENCY WILL PROCESS
The Agency will collect, use, store and delete the following personal data:
Users should provide work contact details only. Where a User provides personal contact details, the User shall be responsible for such provision and shall ensure that the data are provided lawfully and in compliance with applicable data protection legislation.
Where necessary for the validation of a person authorised to sign a Grant Agreement and/or Reports on behalf of an organisation, the Agency may request additional personal data (e.g. name and surname) for identity verification purposes, including a copy or image of an identity document. Any information contained in such document that is not necessary for identification purposes should be masked or otherwise rendered inaccessible.
Personal data may be disclosed to the European Commission and/or auditors for the purposes of verifying the proper use of EU budget funds and overseeing the implementation of the ESF+ SI+ Initiative.
RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA
Personal data shall be retained from the date of the User’s registration in eSInnis for the duration of the implementation of the ESF+ SI+ Initiative and thereafter for 10 years following completion of the relevant project, unless a longer retention period is required by the Grant Agreement or applicable legislation. Personal data relating to unsuccessful applications shall be retained for three years from the date of submission unless a longer retention period is required by applicable rules.
